Transfer Agent Oversight (Fund Ops Cash)–Manager – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX)

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

As a Manager you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Consulting LLP.
You will support the oversight of various transfer agents and service providers that provide operational support to mutual funds, interval funds, closed end funds, etc. You will be responsible for managing escalated service issues from the transfer agent and service providers, monitoring service quality of transfer agent and service provider and providing oversight of fund events and corporate actions.
- Lead oversight of multiple third-party transfer agents, enforcing process standards, SLAs, and best practices.
- Oversee inquiry response related to shareholder onboarding and transactions
- Manage resolution of trade inquiries with third-party intermediaries
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of U. S. trade activity and pre-trade notifications to front office teams
- Perform timely review and reconciliation of trade orders between transfer agents and internal accounting records, and cash settlement issues
- Coordinate cross-functional engagement related to fund trading with various internal teams including cash desks, portfolio managers, account managers, investment operations teams, etc.
- Analyze root causes of errors or delays and implement controls to reduce recurring issues.

Qualifications Required
- 10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
- Completion of coursework (Egresado) in any pertinent field or industry
- Responsible for client and team management including proactive value creation activities
- Support sales activities, account management, and project planning
- Advanced English level
- Experience in transfer agent oversight, fund operations, or asset management.
- Deep understanding of fund flows, transfer agent functions, and regulatory obligations for retail and alternative funds.
- Experience with investment management related systems, technologies, and tools such as order management systems (OMS), portfolio/investment accounting systems, performance reporting and attribution software, data analytics, etc.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with process automation, change management, and risk/control frameworks.
- Significant knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly as it pertains to data analysis
- Experience with Share Point, SQL, Python, or visual basic desirable
- Deep understanding of investment management products types (e.g., mutual funds, exchange traded funds, interval funds, closed end funds)
