Your Role:
SAP BTP developer will be part of Asset Lifecycle Management global team responsible for operation and development of SAP BTP solutions. Your responsibility is to maintain, enhance and improve the applications and services of your functional team and thereby be a significant contributor to the IT Services delivered by KION Group IT. Your focus within BTP will be set on the BTP backend development with SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming (CAP).

You will support the development of our global BTP applications together with your team.
You will work in one of our agile teams with a focus on BTP CAP Java development to create a sustainable business value.
Specifically, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing and updating software applications.
This includes questioning user stories and the requirements for plausibility and consistency, design and implementation of technical solutions are also part of your tasks
Reviewing the code & testing user stories and features with regards to acceptance criteria
Searching for bugs and fixing them
Working on technical details with other development teams or external service providers to find the best technical solution
The team's service covers all processes around the lifetime of assets (equipment and installed base) and vehicles (sales and service information from configurable material) supporting new truck, used truck & rental business.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Your Skills and Expertise:
Several years of experience in software development
You are familiar with one of the following technologies and are interested in the others: SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Java (backend), SAP Fiori (frontend), SAP Build Process Automation (workflows)
Preferably you have knowledge in Java
You know the SAP BTP Platform
Experience in cloud-based software development
Proactive contribution to improvements and ideas for the product, also beyond pure software development
Holistic view of the developed solution: from conception to operation
Enjoy agile working methods (e.g. with Scrum) and optimizing our systems
You enjoy working in international teams and communicate confidently in English.
