We are seeking a highly adaptable and self-directed On-Demand Junior QA Engineer to join our team for short-term, project-based engagements. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a flexible, remote environment and are comfortable with fluctuating work schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Project-Based Testing:
Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, or software applications (depending on project needs).
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality standards are met.
Participate in sprint planning and review meetings (if applicable).
Flexible Scheduling:
Work remotely and independently, logging 8 hours of work per day during active project periods.
Manage your own schedule, completing tasks within deadlines and meeting project requirements.
Provide clear and consistent communication regarding progress and any potential roadblocks.
On-Demand Availability:
Be available for 2–3-week project engagements with potential gaps of 1-2 weeks between projects.
Respond promptly to requests for testing and provide timely feedback.
Be adaptable to rapidly changing project requirements.
Documentation:
Create detailed test reports.
Document test cases.
