Position Overview
Lifecycle Specialist – Contracts Management (Employee Lifecycle Team). The Specialist will ensure all contract‑related activities for Remote’s external employees and clients are performed with a focus on legal compliance and a superior employee experience while maintaining speed.
Reporting to the Employee Lifecycle Manager, the Specialist will work in an asynchronous, fully remote environment with an international team. Flexibility in working hours is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as custodian of employment terms and agreements, assist senior specialists on complex projects, and advise on employment law changes.
Draft, tailor, and administer employee lifecycle documents for both internal and external employees, including amendments, letters, and forms.
Advise on employment legislation and provide guidance on legal interpretations of employment agreements.
Collaborate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions to ensure compliance.
Support senior specialists on critical initiatives affecting multiple countries and assist in HR and financial audits.
Develop and update global internal documentation on contracts management, addressing inquiries from internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance the employee lifecycle experience.
Safely manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
Proven experience in managing employee lifecycle events with care and legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills; confidence in leading difficult conversations.
Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English (business level); additional languages are a plus.
Enthusiasm for innovating and optimizing processes, with a track record of automation initiatives.
Strong operational efficiency and meticulous documentation practices.
Tech‑savvy with ability to collaborate asynchronously on tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G‑suite.
Ability to work independently and cohesively in an international, fast‑paced remote environment; willingness to work flexible hours.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $29,750—$67,000 USD.
