The Role
Aspen Technology is looking for individuals to join our growing Product Quality Team to play the role as a Software Quality Engineer, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and tools to support both functional and non-functional testing for next-generation Engineering, Manufacturing and Asset Optimization Solutions. We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Software Developers, Quality Engineers, and Project Managers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Your Impact
Develop comprehensive test strategies from concept to execution.
Support and improve automated scripts for API, UI, system, integration and performance testing, including benchmarking and scalability.
Maintain and execute test automation across UI, API and backend using tools such as Power Shell, Silk Test, Selenium and languages like C#, Java, Python.
Create, execute, and maintain test cases for manual testing.
Monitor and analyze test results, providing clear reports on feature quality.
Ensure product lines meet established requirements and industry standards.
Align testing strategies with product goals to maximize efficiency and coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Optimize test processes and ensure alignment with evolving product objectives.
