About the Role:
We are seeking a
Senior Accountant (Contador Senior)
to support our growing
manufacturing / maquiladora
operations in Rosarito.
This role will manage accounting and tax operations under
IMMEX Program
, and work closely with our
international finance team
in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
Manage full-cycle accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
Ensure accuracy of financial transactions under
Mexican GAAP
and internal company policies.
2. Tax & IMMEX Compliance
Prepare and submit tax declarations in line with SAT requirements.
Manage
IMMEX documentation, audits, and compliance
for import/export operations.
Liaise with customs and external consultants to ensure compliance with maquiladora regulations.
3. Financial Reporting
Prepare periodic financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
Consolidate and report results to the Taiwan headquarters in English.
4. Audit & External Coordination
Work with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies during reviews and annual audits.
Support both internal and external audit requests.
5. Regulatory & Policy Alignment
Monitor new accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and ensure company compliance.
Support finance policy implementation and process improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years
of experience in accounting or finance (manufacturing industry preferred).
Familiarity or experience with
IMMEX / Maquiladora
operations is a
strong plus
.
Experience with SAT filings, CONTPAQi, or SAP is desirable.
Proficient in
Excel
and comfortable communicating in
English and Spanish
.
