Job Purpose
Borg Warner Power Drive Systems is currently looking for

dynamic, results driven

individuals to join as a

Production Supervisor. The main responsibilities of this role include serving as a leader and facilitator for the team’s tasks and activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, production, environmental, and operational system objectives to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and ensure compliance with company safety policies and follow up on the timely closure of unsafe condition findings.

Participate in accident/incident investigations.

Promote environmental awareness.

Execute the Emergency Response Plan correctly according to established procedures.

Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA) as scheduled and ensure team leaders under supervision do the same.

Ensure timely completion of production (OEE), safety, and scrap reports.

Ensure accurate and timely updates to the production board.

Follow up on the closure of actions related to assigned lines (LPA, safety, environmental, quality, production (OEE), maintenance, etc.).

Communicate progress on action closures to the team.

Allocate resources to personnel under supervision.

Ensure operational training and identify training needs at the workstation.

Rotate personnel across different operations to build a multifunctional team.

Manage personnel incidents.

Participate in courses, workshops, and training sessions as required to help the team achieve objectives.

Promote problem‑solving methodologies.

Evaluate the feasibility of improvement ideas proposed by team members, coordinate with the originator, and validate implementation.

Manage the implementation and sustainment of line improvements using lean techniques such as 5 S, TPM.

Handle conflict resolution and negotiation.

Education / Experience / Qualifications

Schooling: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Administration, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, Technical or related fields.

Experience: 1 year or more in a similar position.

Technical knowledge: Manufacturing processes, personnel management, quality and environmental systems, problem‑solving processes, workplace safety, Lean Manufacturing.

Other requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
