Resource Manager@Bayforce | IT Consulting, Staffing Solutions
Data Platform Operations | Remote (LATAM)
We’re looking for an experienced
Power BI Administrator
to own and scale our enterprise Power BI environment. This is a
hands‑on, platform‑focused role
for someone who knows Power BI inside and out and enjoys making complex systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day tenant administration, governance, performance optimization, and automation. Manual work doesn’t scale, so we need someone who thinks creatively, builds smart scripts, and proactively solves problems before users feel them.
If you thrive in large, high‑volume environments and take pride in keeping platforms stable, optimised, and cost‑effective, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Power BI Platform Administration
Monitor and manage Power BI capacity, performance, and resource utilisation
Enforce governance standards for workspaces, datasets, and tenant settings
Analyse capacity usage, logs, and alerts to identify issues and optimisation opportunities
Build custom monitoring dashboards using SQL, REST APIs, and scripts
Automate administrative tasks and bulk actions using Power Shell or similar tools
Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend improvements to leadership
Support Power BI deployments via Azure Dev Ops and troubleshoot pipeline issues
User & Operational Support
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and licensing
Troubleshoot refresh, performance, and access issues
Partner with IT and business teams on onboarding and off‑boarding
Optimization & Reliability
Monitor service health and respond to incidents impacting reports or data access
Improve report and dataset performance using best practices in modelling, refresh strategies, and Power Query
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance
Create and maintain Power BI governance documentation, user guides, and FAQs
Partner with data engineers, architects, and analysts to document workflows and standards
Lead user training sessions to drive adoption and best practices
Continuously improve documentation and training materials as the platform evolves
What You Bring
3–5 years of hands‑on Power BI administration experience
Proven experience supporting Power BI at enterprise scale
Strong SQL skills and experience working with REST APIs
Power Shell or scripting experience for automation and bulk operations
Deep understanding of Power BI governance, capacity management, and performance tuning
Experience with Azure Dev Ops pipelines and deployment troubleshooting
Solid knowledge of data modelling, ETL concepts, and cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
Strong problem‑solving skills and clear communication
Power BI and/or Azure certifications are a plus
This is a
dedicated Power BI administration role. We’re looking for specialists, not generalists. Platform stability and reliability are critical, and success in this role requires experience, precision, and confidence.
