About the role
Carrier has openings for passionate and experienced calculation engine developer to serve as vital members of the MASC (Modeling, Analysis, Simulation and Computation) team based in Shanghai, China. The MASC team is responsible for developing and deploying best in class calculation platform to promote Carrier sales volume.
Key Responsibilities:
As a (specify role), you'll be responsible for:
Develop state of art calculation engine to promote Carrier sales volume.
Communicate with marketing, product engineering, and global teams in understanding customer needs from different perspectives.
Provide heat transfer and thermodynamics expertise and work with optimization engineer to develop advanced algorithms to assist the Carrier sales person to provide best solutions to our customers.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are MS degree or Ph D. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
MS or Ph D degree in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning or fluid machinery with 2+ year experiencewith master's degree.
Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics and numerical analysis, understand the mechanism of the numerical computation method for non-linear equation group.
Programming experience in Python, Modelica, C++, Fortran or related languages.
Engineering experience in design or application of HVAC/R or Power plant equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate across functions.
Ability to think independently while working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
