About the Role
We are seeking a strategic A/B Testing Manager to lead and transform our customer's experimentation program. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing their testing volume by 3x, driving a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of experimentation tools and methodologies, along with a proven track record of leading large-scale experimentation programs.
What You’ll Do
Strategy and Leadership
- Define what it means for the company to be a learning organization, establishing key principles, behaviors, and cultural shifts.
- Set testing goals and lead the execution to achieve those goals, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Act as a champion for experimentation and data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Inspire and mentor leaders and employees to adopt a learning mindset, viewing failures as opportunities for growth.
- Establish a comprehensive experimentation framework, including best practices, governance structures, and a hybrid approach to development.
- Empower cross-functional teams to build and analyze tests within the experimentation tool.
- Develop KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact of experimentation on business outcomes and organizational learning.
Building a Learning Ecosystem
- Develop mechanisms for capturing, sharing, and applying knowledge gained from experiments across the company.
- Create a repository of learnings, case studies, and best practices accessible to teams company-wide.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback and iteration, ensuring insights from experiments lead to actionable improvements.
Organizational Change Management
- Lead the change management process to embed a culture of experimentation throughout the organization.
- Identify and overcome barriers to cultural change, fostering an environment where experimentation is valued and encouraged.
What You Bring
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a strategic role, preferably in product management, experimentation, data science, consulting, or business strategy.
- Proficiency in data analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., Optimizely) and methodologies.
- Strong experience in A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
Leadership and Innovation
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate change within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong advocacy for experimentation and learning, driving a shift toward data-driven practices across departments.
