MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Build a safety culture and lead all the safety initiatives and efforts towards zero accidents.
• Assure quality compliances across the supply chain.
• Develop the team skills and competencies across Fabrication area.
• Support fabrication Manufacturing team activities.
• Lead the introduction of new platforms and/or model year changes. 
• Influence R&D decisions towards DFM.
• Continuously seek for make opportunities (growth) with NPD Project Leader.
• Support the Coordinator on Budget and forecast preparation for capital and operational expenses.
• Strong execution of best lean practices.
• Optimize the Minute Vehicles in Fabrication.
• Seize opportunities of innovation for fabrication manufacturing processes.
• Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Coordinator.
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechatronic).
• Bilingual (80% English & Spanish), both oral and written. Nivel de ingles mayor o igual a (Ejemplo)puntos TOFEL
• Knowledge on health and safety best practices. Conocimiento NOM’s, Analisis de riesgos, Ergonomía, 
• Proven Lean Manufacturing knowledge, skills and execution. Preferentemente Green Belt, Black Belt, SPC, Kaizen, pokayoke, 5’S, PPAP.
• SAP. Desired.
• Welding knowledge. (TIG-MIG). Desired.
• Experience 8 years or more.
