We are seeking a seasoned and strategic
Airport Maintenance Director (F/M)
to lead and oversee maintenance operations across this network. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of maintenance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an airport environment, with a strong background in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
This role requires a visionary leader capable of implementing advanced maintenance systems, driving performance through KPIs, and managing large-scale contracts and remote teams.
The main responsibilities include:
Leading and coordinating maintenance operations across multiple airport sites.
Developing and implementing a centralized Maintenance Control Center, Dispatch Desk, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Establishing and monitoring KPI-based performance management systems to ensure operational excellence.
Negotiating and managing large-scale maintenance contracts (civil, electromechanical, electrical), ensuring compliance with SLAs.
Managing budgets with objectives of cost control and reduction.
Balancing strategic investments with daily operational needs.
Designing and executing overhaul programs for critical infrastructure and systems.
Building and managing high-performing, geographically distributed maintenance teams.
Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards across all maintenance activities.
Collaborating with airport operations, engineering, and external contractors to optimize asset lifecycle and reliability.
Partnering with cross-functional departments to support infrastructure modernization, expansion, and renewal initiatives.
Integrating innovative solutions to enhance sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
Traveling regularly to oversee operations and ensure consistency across all sites.
