About Role:
We are seeking a skilled
Production & Material Controller
to support our growing manufacturing operations in
Tijuana, Mexico
. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring production plans align with customer demand, optimizing work orders, and coordinating material supply to achieve on-time delivery and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Review customer demand and develop accurate production plans.
Create, review, and manage work orders, ensuring timely execution and efficiency.
Coordinate production lines, shifts, and schedules to maximize productivity.
Monitor material supply status and address shortages to minimize delays.
Support MES data maintenance and engineering changes in work orders.
Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and SCM teams to achieve production targets.
Align with sales on capacity, materials, and resource planning.
Manage communication with logistics, import/export, overseas MC, and local buyer teams to ensure timely material delivery.
Identify and resolve production or material planning issues proactively.
Report major supply risks to management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with
5+ years of experience
in production planning or material control in the
electronics manufacturing sector
.
Experience in
Maquiladora operations
is a strong plus.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency in English (read, write, speak, listen) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Oracle/ERP system experience is preferred.
