About the TeamContinues Improvement Department
Reporting directly to Plant Manager
One direct report (CI Engineer)
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Analyzing and understanding processes in various departments, identifying areas of waste or inefficiency.
- Developing and executing improvement strategies, including change management activities.
- Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams.
- Training and mentoring teams in problem solving.
- Conducting continuous improvement training and workshops for staff at all levels.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and making necessary adjustments.
- Using a range of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5s, Value Stream Mapping, or Kaizen to drive process improvements, train and mentor teams.
- Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Working closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently. Develop Site strategy.
- Bachelor's degree (engineering related a plus).
- 7 years of experience in similar responsibilities.
- Deep knowledge of problem solving including 7 D, 5 P, 5 Why, A#, PDCE, etc.
- Fully bilingual.
