Main Responsibilities
Create and update best in class internal flows engineering standards for North America Lighting and Exteriors business group, support plants to achieve best‑in‑class performance for Internal flows (Material Handling, Surfaces, WIP stocks, Storage CAPEX).
Promote safety culture, ensure safety policies are understood and respected.
Organize internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and Technological Innovation.
Design and develop best in class solutions for: storage means (hanging shopstock, WIP trolley, Racks, Transtocker, Warehousing, …)
Automated Transport (Tow AGV, lift AGV, Forklift AGV, …)
IT Tools (WMS, Material Call, E‑Kanban)
Material Handling organization (Kitting, Direct Feeding, …)
Create and update all internal flows engineering standards for application in Operations & Engineering.
Deliver training and share best practices to the Supply Chain Community.
Lead VSM/MIFD workshops in plants and develop strategic plan for plant layout and flows transformation to improve performance and prepare for future projects.
Provide strategic inputs and direction for complex quotation phases.
Support Project Teams to define and develop best‑in‑class supply‑chain internal flow Organization.
Profile Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in Automotive Supply Chain Operations (Internal flows especially, external flows also appreciated) and Lean Manufacturing.
Strong experience using Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodologies (Kaizen, 5 S, VSM…)
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Process Mapping & Flow Optimization knowledge and experience
Supply Chain & Logistics Knowledge (especially internal flows, material handling, and inventory management)
Data Analysis & Problem Solving (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
Project Management skills and tools (MS Project, MS Visio)
