The Senior R2 R Director is responsible for leading and strategizing departmental operations across Latin America, ensuring compliance with financial, regulatory, and internal control standards. This role drives process transformation, operational excellence, and a culture of service and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Director acts as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, leading complex projects, developing talent, and fostering innovation to achieve organizational objectives.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), including risk management and internal controls.
• Lead process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives,leveraging methodologies such as Kaizen and Six Sigma and using Gen AI resources.
• Develop and manage policies, standards, and processes for financial master data and data management.
• Supervise internal and external audits, identifying risks and implementing control improvements.
• Manage strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, negotiating agreements and evaluating performance.
• Lead major projects, including change management, business process modeling, and transition management.
• Analyze financial statements and key metrics, providing recommendations to executive management.
• Promote service excellence by defining service levels, value streams, and improvement initiatives.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and strategic alliances within and outside the organization.
• Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax, transfer pricing, and fraud detection frameworks.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, business, or related areas.
• At least 8 years of experience leading organizations.
• CPA
• Open to travel to Latam and US
• Bilingual C1
• Effective communication
• Big four experience in Blue Chip companies
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, information technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in program management, transition services, or change management. And leading multifunctional teams and transformation projects, delivering significant efficiencies and improvements of SLAs.
• Experience with advanced data management, process automation, and digital tools.
• International or regional experience in Latin America.
