This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Data Analytics. You will move beyond standard reporting to
serve as the bridge between financial outputs and data operations
, automating workflows and building high-impact dashboards. The ideal candidate is an analytical self-starter with a solid foundation in finance who is eager to utilize modern data tools (SQL, Power BI, etc.) to deliver clarity and actionable insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do
Data Automation & Visualization:
Lead the effort to
identify and build automated reports and interactive dashboards
(using tools like Power BI/Looker/Tableau) that seamlessly integrate operational and financial data.
Deep Data Dive:
Utilize
SQL
and other BI tools to query, extract, and analyze complex business performance data, supporting variance analysis and trend reporting for the FP& A team.
Financial Modeling Support:
Aid in the creation of robust financial models, proformas, and scenario planning, ensuring all inputs are validated through a data-driven lens.
Data Integrity & Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Finance and Data Analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper data flow across systems.
Process Efficiency:
Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to streamline financial reporting and enhance data accessibility.
What You Will Bring (Skills & Requirements)
Technical Expertise is Key
SQL Mastery:
Strong SQL skills
for data extraction and manipulation.
BI Proficiency:
Proven experience with
Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI/visualization tools.
Modeling:
Advanced proficiency in
Excel
for financial modeling and analysis.
Foundation:
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting fundamentals, and FP& A concepts (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).
Data Handling:
Comfort working with large, complex data sets from multiple sources.
Experience & Education
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience
in data analysis, business intelligence, or FP& A.
Communication:
Exceptional ability to translate technical data concepts and findings into clear, concise, and business-focused recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
A plus:
Experience with light programming (Python/R) or knowledge of financial trends in the healthcare industry.
