We are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate all engineering operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, while also promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
The Engineering Manager will oversee the work of engineering teams to ensure that products and processes meet both quality standards and customer expectations. This position requires a leader with a hands-on approach, strong technical background, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the engineering department, including project engineers, process engineers, and technical staff.
Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals and continuous improvement targets.
Coordinate and manage technical projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with the operations team to solve manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable engineering solutions.
Lead the implementation of automation and modernization initiatives to enhance plant productivity and competitiveness.
Ensure proper documentation and standardization of engineering procedures and work instructions.
Provide technical support for new product development, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance across the engineering function.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree is a plus
8–10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, lean manufacturing, and industry best practices
Advanced skills in engineering software and data analysis tools
Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines.
