Responsibilities
Design and plan drainage systems for various projects.
Conduct research and analysis of drainage systems to optimize performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate drainage systems into project designs.
Ensure quality and safety standards are met for drainage construction.
Develop project schedules and budgets for drainage systems.
Participate in project meetings to report progress and provide technical support.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors.
Independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for continuous and single-event rainfall modeling.
Analysis of basins, hydrographs, development and routing of maximum discharges.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
1 to 5 years of experience in drainage engineering.
Pavement drainage, culverts, storm systems, pump stations, bridge sizing, sediment transport, revetment design, and coastal considerations for highway drainage.
Software expertise includes: HEC-RAS, Q-GIS.
Experience with international codes desirable (AASHTO, DOT).
