What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Build and maintain detailed customer profiles in Cargo Wise so every department has accurate info.

✅ Guide customers with expert recommendations, helping them choose the best freight and logistics solutions (including preparing quotes).

✅ Coordinate shipment bookings and validate ocean/air freight from origin to destination, keeping customers updated every step of the way.

✅ Be the go-to contact for customer inquiries via phone and email—deliver top-notch service and handle special requests to strengthen relationships.

✅ Manage daily communications for assigned accounts and direct concerns to the right team for quick resolution.

✅ Send new shipment bookings to customers and confirm all ocean/air bookings.

✅ Track empty containers and ensure timely returns—or apply per diem billing when needed.

✅ Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with accuracy and compliance in mind.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in International Business or equivalent experience.

About 1 year in an administrative or clerical role.

Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

⚡ Great at prioritizing, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency.

Advanced English is a must.

Work Schedule

GDL Office: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM / 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
