Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Construction & Coating Chemicals to oversee and expand our sales operations in Mexico. This role focuses on developing new business and managing key customer relationships for our construction chemical additives, including:
HEC – Hydroxyethyl Cellulose
MHEC – Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose
HPMC – Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose
RDP – Redispersible Polymer Powder
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective sales strategies for construction and coating chemical additives
Build strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key accounts
Identify new business opportunities in the coatings, painting, and construction materials sectors
Provide technical and commercial support to customers
Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field
10+ years of sales experience in construction or coating chemicals Strong knowledge of cellulose ethers (HEC, MHEC, HPMC) and RDP
Experience working with coatings, mortar, adhesives, or building materials manufacturers
Proven ability to manage key accounts and distributors
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
