In this role, a typical day will include:
Managing and reconciling accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of incoming payments.
Monitoring outstanding balances and conducting corporate collections, following up directly with customers when needed.
Executing and documenting account conciliation processes to ensure data integrity and alignment with financial records.
Coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support cross-functional objectives.
Supporting financial audits by preparing documentation and assisting with inquiries related to accounts receivable.
Operating within SAP to manage AR transactions and generate reports, leveraging system functionalities efficiently.
Continuously seeking improvements in AR processes while maintaining compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
What You’ll Bring to Alcon:
Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience
in Accounts Receivable, preferably with exposure to
corporate collections
and
account reconciliation
.
Solid understanding of
accounting principles
and financial processes.
Hands-on experience with
SAP
or similar ERP systems.
Industry experience in
pharmaceuticals
or healthcare (preferred).
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and working knowledge of Word and Power Point.
Strong communication skills in
English (written)
and a proactive, goal-oriented attitude.
Soft skills: Self-managed, results-driven, collaborative, and capable of handling multiple priorities with a problem-solving mindset.
