Job Description
In the role of consultant, you will be driving consulting engagement effort with clients for various assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to system solution development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery solutions and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Skills / Competencies
Essential
Should have more than 5 years of functional consulting experience in SAP EWM (EWM 9.0 and higher is desirable) which would include 1-2 full cycle implementations experience from Blueprint to post implementation support, including roll-out experience.
Should have EWM requirements gathering, preparation of functional specification document (FSD), Technical functional specification document (TSD). Should have supported Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), executed data migration and user training in EWM implementation and roll-outs.
Strong knowledge and system hands-on experience in Outbound, Inbound & Internal Warehouse Operations. Well versed with system configuration for Goods Receipt with Put-away, Picking, Packaging, Put-away / Interleaving, Transfer Postings, Physical Inventory, Bin to Bin Stock Movements, Replenishments and Cycle Counts, Batching / Wave Planning, Consolidation, Slotting and Rearrangement, Mobile Data Entry Integration, Label Printing.
Should Architect, Design and Implement complex configuration management solutions for all EWM scenarios, integration with MM, SD, PP, QM and TM and lead the team in order to produce defect free product at the end of SIT & UAT.
Integration experience with 3 PLs, MES, ATTP etc. through Web Services, IDocs or PIPO will be added advantage.
Should be experience in handling custom enhancements as per business specific processes.
Preferred
SAP Configuration experience in one or more modules is a Plus
Experience in WMS consulting project is desirable
Strong experience in scoping, requirements gathering and solution design and build
Excellent communication skills. Multilingual proficiency BUT English must be fluent
Full life cycle experience in multiple SAP projects, enhancement and/or roll-out & implementation.

This job may entail extensive travel (if required). The job may also require sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time or working in a hybrid mode (remote and client or Infosys facilities).
