Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

At least 10 years mechanical engineering experience in the data center rack manufacturing industry.

Full understanding of the whole manufacturing process of the rack and the key quality controls.

Experienced in optimizing rack design for cost, quality and manufacturability with the concept of DFM.

Capable of creating or modifying the 3 D models and 2 D drawings of rack systems using CAD tools (e.g. Creo, Solidworks & Auto Cad).

Past experience in managing all qualification processes to bring up the rack from NPI phase to mass production phase.

Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting and problem solving for the mechanical quality issues in rack (eg. 8 D approach, fishbone & 5 whys).

Effective technical presentation to show project status and manage the communication with different internal teams & external customers.

Past experience in mechanical support for ORV3 rack is preferred.
