Title: Staff Pipeline Facilities Engineer - Pipeline & Facilities (Mexico City)Location: Mexico City, Mexico Job Type: Engineering Primary Location: Mexico City, Mexico Schedule: Full-time Travel Requirement: Yes, up to 15% of the time, including potential travel to the United States Req ID: [To be Assigned]Job Description: The Staff Pipeline Facilities Engineer will join our team in Mexico City, supportingprojects in the United States through various regional offices. This position involvessignificant coordination with engineers and designers across all Burns & Mc Donnelloffices, contributing to a cohesive international team. The engineer will lead fromconceptualization through construction, ensuring designs meet client needs, regulatoryrequirements, and contribute to our sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical and process engineering to support the design developmentof projects from the conceptual phase through detailed design completion. Review and provide markups on design drawings, 3 D Models, ISO drawings,etc., for projects including pipeline, M&R stations, and compressor stations. Produce complete PFDs and P&IDs from verbal or written descriptions from the Senior engineer. Engineer mechanical components like bills of materials for pipes, valves, andfittings based on project design requirements. Apply strong knowledge of commonly used mechanical engineering/designconcepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the discipline. Review, analyze, and index pipeline material features and produce engineeringcalculations and reports, including hydraulics to support hydrostatic pressure testdesigns. Research and compile project-related data as required by project managers. Update drawings provided by senior engineers to ensure corrections are madewithin multiple CAD-related software. Compile information for client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contractadministration. Create project specifications and datasheets for procurement packages. Create procurement packages, request for quotes, perform bid evaluations, andrecommend vendors. Perform simulations and analysis on preliminary engineering projects usingsoftware such as AFT products, Pipeline Technical Toolbox, Aspen programs(especially HYSYS), etc. Work closely with other disciplines (Piping, Process, Electrical, I&C, Structural,and Civil) to ensure integrated project delivery. Attend meetings with clients as needed and perform field inspections,measurements, or calculations for public and private clients. Be prepared for field assignments and potential travel. Desire to actively engage in our emerging technology and decarbonizationefforts, including the implementation of hydrogen and carbon capturetechnologies within our projects. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in pipeline facilities engineering, with apreference for experience in decarbonization technologies. Professional Engineer (PE) registration or Cédula Profesional preferred. Proficiency in English and extensive knowledge of engineering principles, codes,and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, PIP, NACE). Experience with engineering design tools (Auto CAD, Micro Station, Pipeline Technical Toolbox, Aspen One, AFT products) and a strong background inemerging technologies related to carbon
