Role: Dev Ops / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Java programming
Type of Hire: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI.
Develop automation scripts and custom tools using Java and/or other scripting languages (Python, Shell, Groovy).
Monitor and improve system reliability, availability, and performance using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
Collaborate with development teams to ensure operational excellence and robust application deployments.
Design and implement infrastructure as code (Ia C) using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, focusing on cost, security, and scalability.
Participate in on-call rotations, root cause analysis, and postmortems for incident resolution.
Implement SRE best practices like SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, chaos testing, and error budgeting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong Java programming skills – ability to write tools, APIs, or integrate Java-based systems.
2–4+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or infrastructure automation roles.
Proficient in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Argo CD, or similar.
Familiar with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Cloud experience with at least one major provider: AWS, GCP, Azure.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and system troubleshooting.
